This ZWIFT-specific training plan is for you if you have access to all the great mountain bike workouts available on ZWIFT, but never really knew how to piece them all together.

The training plan will consist of 6 weeks of training.  Modules will follow on each other and gradually progress.

This training plan is aimed at riders who just finished preparing for their favourite multi-day mountain bike stage race and want to maintain their fitness level throughout the ‘off-season’.   It will also be very useful to riders aiming to compete in the following year’s event.

  • Level of fitness required:  Should easily be able to manage +-5hrs/week of varying intensities
  • Equipment required:  This plan is intended for indoor training use only using the ZWIFT system (Watts and/or HR)
  • Suggested for months:  April to August (11 – 7 months before your next big stage race)
  • Planned sessions/week:  5
  • Planned hours/week:  4 – 6hrs
  • Duration of training plan:  6 weeks
