INDIVIDUAL COACHING
We offer individual training programs for professional and amateur cyclists, men, women, boys, girls, veterans, road, track and mountain bike, based on sport science and experience. Our main objective is for every cyclist to reach their full potential.
Our programming includes:
- Aid in short + long term goal setting
- Periodized training program with progressive overload and sufficient recovery to ensure peak conditioning
- Day to day workouts individualized according to cycling history and physical characteristics
- Training with purpose and targeting specific zones/energy systems
- Tapering and peaking according to goals and specific to a season or race
- Progress and performance monitoring
- Contact on a weekly basis as deemed necessary
Heart rate based program
Athletes train according to individualized heart rate zones calculated from their laboratory cycling test results and taking their training background and event type into consideration.
- It is the first step into training more specific and economically
Power based program
(Power meters measures the true rate of work and is not influenced by environmental factors. It is the ultimate tool in tracking fitness and optimizing pacing strategies)
- For the more serious and mature athlete who is able to take the next step using top technology
- Athletes train according to wattage-based workouts calculated from their laboratory cycling test results as well as continually tracking and making changes as they improve
- Power is used in conjunction with heart rate to provide the ultimate tool to monitor progress and the way the body reacts to specific workouts
- Race data is analyzed and used to make changes to improve future performances
